Spatial Patterns Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Cultural Resources in the Yellow River National Cultural Park, China

Abstract: This paper aims to analyze the spatial patterns characteristics of cultural resources within the Yellow River National Cultural Park in China. Therefore, this paper plans to use Arcgis-10.8 software to describe the spatial patterns of cultural resources within the Yellow River National Cultural Park and use Geographic detector tools to study the influence of physical geography and social and human factors on the spatial distribution pattern of cultural resources. The results indicate that: (1) the cultural res… Show more

“…The Nearest Neighbor Index (NNI) effectively reflects the spatial distribution characteristics of point-like elements [22][23][24]. To analyze campsites at the Yellow River basin level, we approximate them as point-like targets and evaluate their spatial distribution using the NNI.…”

“…Nearest proximity is an indicator describing the proximity of point-like elements to each other in geographic space (Yuan et al, 2023). In the case of monasteries and gardens, they can be abstracted as point-like elements of three types: discrete, random and clustered (Zharikov et al, 2005).…”

“…These systems play a significant role in the efficacy and effectiveness of ecosystem and biodiversity conservation, attracting interdisciplinary research interest [20][21][22]. The distribution pattern of NWPs is typically a function of ecoregions, which are influenced by the interaction of natural and human factors such as hydrologic conditions, unique ecosystems, water administrative management policy, and urbanization level [23][24][25]. From the perspectives of ecology and water-related professions, ecological footprint, ecosystem services, and their evolutionary processes are essential to waterfront management, which can direct ecology restoration and ecological flow allocation [26][27][28][29][30][31].…”
