Spatio-temporal channel characterization: theoretical framework and applications in MIMO system design

Abstract: The utilization of multiple antennas and space-time codes in multiple-input and multipleoutput (MIMO) communication systems significantly improves the transmission channel capacity without using additional bandwidth and power.
