Abstract:The chaotic processes in time and space are investigated explicitly by means of solving the initial-boundary problem for the discrete kinetic equation. The Carleman model is studied. The physical interpretation of this kinetic system is presented. Numerical solutions show series of bifurcations when decreasing the Knudsen number. That leads to the period-doublings and then to the chaotic regimes with the positive senior Lyapunov exponential. The spatial oscillating profiles with the average solutions which dif… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
