The article reports on the directions for using information and communication technologies in the area of the development and support of talented youth. It is noted that working with talented youth is an essential direction of development of our state. Concepts of talentedness and creativity have been analyzed, psychological and pedagogical conditions for the development of talented youth have been revealed. The structure and characteristics of the educational space for the development of talented youth have been highlighted. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the role of the teacher/lecturer in supporting talented youth, who should direct the student's activities, support him/her, and involve him/her in various activities. It has been found that information and communication technologies make it possible to create an appropriate information and educational environment, which contributes to the improvement of the educational process quality, and the formation of informational competencies of a talented child. During extracurricular work, in particular, in a groupwork, you can use Google services, application software for creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and Internet browsers for navigating the Internet and searching for information. Communication between children and their supervisors takes place using video communication tools (Skype, Zoom, Google Meet), and tools for sending instant messages (Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp). It has been found that social networks are used to organize extracurricular work, and to create virtual communities in which talented youth are trained. The scientific training of talented children can be activated with the help of student electronic scientific journals, which are located on the OJS platform. It has been found that in modern conditions, ICT is used to organize and conduct Internet competitions. In the future, it is planned to create an analytical and informational system for working with talented youth, which will accumulate information about the winners of intellectual and creative competitions.
