Specific heat of dipolar magnet KEr(MoO4)2 in external magnetic field

Abstract: In this paper we present theoretical studies of Ising dipolar system in the paramagnetic regime. Mean-field approximation with the nearest-neighbour interaction involved in one direction has been applied. The corresponding theoretical predictions of specific heat are compared with experimental specific heat data of the title compound.
