Specifications of the University Course "Methods of Teaching Mathematics in Higher Education Institutions"

Abstract: The article necessitates the introduction of a subject "Methods of teaching mathematics in higher education" to the undergraduate's curriculum of mathematics students. The subject curriculum is presented, its goals and objectives are described, the contents of lectures and workshops are detailed on, the contents of the independent study material are provided, and the level-related requirements to the results of the study of this discipline by the students are offered.Keywords: master program in mathematics, tr… Show more
