Spectra of velocity circulation in the surface layer of the atmosphere

Abstract: Measurements of the velocity circulation in the atmospheric surface layer can be used to infer information on atmospheric vorticity, a quantity of fundamental importance. In this paper, circulation is measured with an acoustic sensor. The instrument is described, and some results are given.
