Abstract:The origin and dynamic properties of the green fluorescence of Cs2 excited by laser lines in the 457-488 nm range are studied. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of the 501-527 nrn range. The identified fluorescence line progressions are attributed to the E'(3) 1Пu → X 1 ∑ + g t r a n s i t i o n . A n e x t e n s i o n of the attractive branch of the E'(3) 1 II. potential towards longer internuclear distances is reconstructed by the semi-classical method. A narrow feature at 522 nm is found to be connected wi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
