Abstract:<p style='text-indent:20px;'>We consider the random matrix obtained by picking vectors randomly from a large collection of mutually unbiased bases of <inline-formula><tex-math id="M5">\begin{document}$ \mathbb{C}^n $\end{document}</tex-math></inline-formula>, and prove that the spectral distribution converges to the Marchenko-Pastur law. This shows that vectors in mutually unbiased bases behave like random vectors. This phenomenon is similar to that of binary linear codes of dual… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
