Spectre Raman de Translation de la Glace Hexagonale Monocristalline: Effets Directionnels

Abstract: It is shown using Raman scattering experiments with appropriate geometries that the directional effects which have been observed in the spectrum of ice Ih are not of the same kind as occur in ordered piezoelectric crystals, but are caused by a modification in the activity of the one phonon density of states or of certain branches of the dispersion curves, produced by the conditions of incidence and observation.
