Thus, Sm and Eu extracted into TBP can be spectrophotometrically determined following the addition of phen or TTA (645), U extracted into TOA by carminic acid addition (1027), V extracted with benzoinoxime (604), or Mn extracted with DEDTC (687) by 8-quinolinol addition, Fe extracted with DOPA by thiocyanate addition (172), and Th extracted by DOPA can be determined using arsenazo III reagent (171).
