Abstract:Interaction of M(II) ions, M− −Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, and Pd, with a Schiff base ligand (HL), derived from the condensation of 2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzaldehyde and 8-aminoquinoline, gave the complexes COO, and [Pd(HL)Cl 2 ]. The ligand and its complexes were characterized by means of elemental and thermal analyses, molar conductance, and magnetic moment measurements along with the different spectroscopic techniques. Theoretical calculations based on DFT were carried out to verify the optimized structures of ligand and c… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
