Abstract: Opioid use during pregnancy can lead to negative infant health outcomes, including neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome(NOWS). NOWS comprises gastrointestinal, autonomic nervous system, and neurological dysfunction that manifest during spontaneous withdrawal.
