Speech Encoding Scheme for the Extra-Cochlear Pulsed Electrical Stimulation System

Abstract: An extra-cochlear stimulation system has been investigated as a less invasive alternative to conventional cochlear implant; however, the system is used primarily as a speech-reading aid.
