Spezifische Phobien

Abstract: Mit einer durchschnittlichen Einjahresprävalenz von 9 % gehören spezifische Phobien zu den häufigen psychischen Erkrankungen. Sie zeigen sich als intensive Furchtreaktionen vor spezifischen Situationen mit dem zwingenden Wunsch zur Flucht. Reizkonfrontation in vivo ist die wirksamste Behandlungsmethode – ggf. auch in einer einzigen Sitzung. Dabei müssen die zentralen Befürchtungen des Patienten in der Realität überprüft werden.
