Sphingomonas paucimobilis Septic Shock in an Immunocompetent Patient

Abstract: Sphingomonas paucimobilis usually exhibits low virulence likely secondary to its lack of lipopolysaccharide A. Infections caused by S. paucimobilis more commonly afflict immunocompromised patients.
