Abstract: Energy derived from mechanical deformation is one of the cleaner energy options known as piezoelectric. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) has been identified to hold the characteristics of piezoelectric and dielectric properties due to good energy storage capacity and electrical breakdown strength.
