Spin Density Wave Driven by Quadrupolar Kondo Effect in Two-Channel Kondo Lattice

Abstract: A new type of magnetism is found in the two-channel Kondo lattice where each non-Kramers doublet is coupled with two conduction bands by the orbital exchange J. The quadrupolar Kondo effect leads to an SDW state in the case of quarter filled bands, i.e., one conduction electron per site.
