“…NiO, Fe 2 O 3 , CeO 2 , spinel and certain perovskitebased oxides possess suitable thermodynamic properties that permit their use as redox catalysts for chemical looping conversion of CH 4 to synthesis gas. 41,[179][180][181][182][183][184] Among various oxygen carriers, Ni-based oxygen carriers are particularly attractive for CLR owing to their high catalytic activity for CH 4 reforming. 56,[185][186][187][188][189][190][191] NiO possesses a low selectivity towards synthesis gas, but as NiO reduces to Ni the selectivity towards synthesis gas increases.…”

“…were produced including the elemental phosphorus. [47,48] Several possible reactions such as water gas shift or hydrocarbon reformation also could take place in presence of superheated moisture or Co metal as catalyst in Co-PPh 3 , respectively as follows from eq n 1 to 6 [48] :…”

“…The storage of hydrogen in solid form that is stored in another material is also a promising avenue of research [35]. Methods for storing hydrogen in solid form are techniques involving absorption or adsorption mechanisms of hydrogen by a material [31].…”

“…In fact, the best materials currently generate a ratio of hydrogen weight to the total weight of the tank of not more than 2 to 3%.Before considering large-scale applications, it is also important to master certain key parameters such as kinetics (cell performance), the temperature and pressure of the charge and discharge cycles of hydrogen in these materials [34], 2019. [35] revealed that hydrogen is one of the key starting materials used in the chemical industry with an annual worldwide production of about 50 million tons, currently, the largest amount (≈95%) of the total manufactured hydrogen is consumed mainly by two industrial segments: the chemical sector, accounting for 65% of the market share (ammonia and methanol synthesis ≈63%; liquid hydrocarbons and higher alcohols synthesis ≈2%) and the refining sector, which accounts for 30% of the market share (hydrotreating and hydrocracking processes for obtaining high-grade petrochemical products). The other present uses, with ≈5% of the total consumption, include the food industry (sorbitol and fat processing), the metallurgical industry (direct reduction of iron ore), the semiconductor industry and so on.…”
