Spiral Steroid (SS) Phosphodiesters: Role in Pregnancy

Abstract: Spiral steroids (SS) are a newly discovered type of steroid. Originally, they were described as cardiotonic glycosides because they cross-reacted with digoxin-specific antibodies (Digoxin-Like-Materials-DLM).
