Abstract:Introduction: Hypothyroidism is defined as a clinical condition caused by insufficient thyroid hormone secretion from the thyroid gland as a result of structural or functional defects in thyroid hormone production. Hypothyroidism can impair respiratory function and cause ventilation problems.
