Splenic and Portal Vein Thrombosis after Splenectomy: A Case Report

Abstract: Portal and splenic vein thrombosis are uncommon, potentially fatal post-operative complications following splenectomy. These thrombotic events may be asymptomatic or present with non-specific symptoms. Therefore, imaging is important for diagnosis.
