Splenomegaly in Patients With Sideropenic Anemias: Clinical and Hematologic Significance

Abstract: Background: Sideropenic anemias (SAs) are a group of hypoproliferative anemias characterized by hyposideremia. Although they run an insidiously started slowly progressive course, they are a pointer for an underlying serious disease.
