Abstract:Herein, we achieved spontaneous emulsification of organometallic precursors to elaborate subμm metal nanocapsules after interfacial reduction. Depending on the proportion of the three components, water, solvent, and the metal precursor, either thermodynamically stable "surfactantfree microemulsions" (SFME) or metastable Ouzo emulsions are formed.
