Abstract:Intussusception is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction in adults. It often occurs secondary to inflammatory bowel disease, postoperative adhesions, benign or malignant lesions, or iatrogenic causes. In few cases, it occurs idiopathically or spontaneously.
