Abstract:INTRODUCTIONPolycystic ovary disease (PCOD) is the most common endocrine disorder in women of reproductive age, with a prevalence of approximately 5-10%. 1 The principal features of PCOD include androgen excess, ovulatory dysfunction, and/or polycystic ovaries.
