The electrical response depends on the frequency 𝜔 of the measuring electric field, the cut-off frequency 𝜔 𝑅𝐶 and the resonance frequency 𝜔 𝐿𝐶 for an empty cell. For a filled cell, the electrical property (permittivity versus frequency) of the investigated medium is also important. In this supplement, 3D plots are presented. They show how the electrical response gradually changes under different conditions. In two tables below, the formulas for calculating the electrical response for empty cells (Table S1) and filled cells (Table S2) are shown. They were used to prepare all 3D Figures presented in the supplement. Knowing how the measurement system distorts the measurement results, we can calculate the real properties of the liquid crystal from the experiment. This supplement presents, with short comments, all possible cases which can be found in impedance spectroscopy measurements. One can call this supplement: "Atlas of electrical response, in impedance spectroscopy of liquid crystals, changed by parasitic effects". Table S1.
