“…There were no significant differences in the ratio of the patients who developed postoperative insomnia between 2 groups: 15 (71.4%) in the TJ-54 group and 25 (64.8%) in the No-TJ-54 group. With regard to the postoperative bleeding cases of patients in the TJ-54 group, one was a case of spontaneous rupture of an intrasplenic aneurysm on POD 4 after PD with portal vein (PV) resection for PDAC [23] and the other developed postoperative bleeding from right hepatic artery (RHA) on POD 35 (PD with combined resection of PV and RHA and reconstruction of RHA with end-toend fashion for PDAC), although those were not related to the TJ-54 administration. Two cases of the No-TJ-54 group also experienced bleeding from RHA on POD 10 (PD for carcinoma of the ampulla of Vater) and on POD 17 (PD with combined resection of PV and RHA and reconstruction between RHA and first jejunal artery for PDAC).…”
