Spontaneous rupture of the renal pelvis caused by advanced cervical cancer: A case report

Abstract: Background: Spontaneous rupture of the renal pelvis (SRRP) is a rare clinical condition caused by stone obstruction, and characterized by lumbar and abdominal pain. However, SRRP caused by gynecological tumors has not been reported to date. Here, we describe a case of SRRP caused by cervical cancer and discuss its pathogenesis, diagnosis, and treatment.
