Spontaneous Testicular Tubular Hypoplasia/Atrophy in the Göttingen Minipig

Abstract: The aim of this retrospective study was to assess the incidence and severity of tubular atrophy/hypoplasia in the testes of 104 control Göttingen minipigs aged 4.5 to 15 months. Tubular atrophy has been reported to occur in the testis with a high incidence in younger Göttingen minipigs (64.4% at 4–5 months of age, 87.0% at 6–10 months of age, and 86.4% at 10–15 months of age) 12 .
