The purpose of this study is to analyse the functions and occupations of physical activity and sport, the socio-demographic and labour characteristics, the planning and evaluation of their performance and the important elements in obtaining their current employment of the graduates in physical activity and sports sciences in Spain. Data were collected through the use of a face to-face survey questionnaire addressed to 2500 people who worked in occupations of physical activity and sport in sports facilities in all provinces of Spain. The results show an extensive and varied panorama of functions, occupations and professions of physical activity and sport, which they are configured as specific functions, that they should be the main focus of the training and performance of these graduates. It has also obtained a high hidden employment, instability and temporality in several occupations. Likewise, the planning, evaluation and reporting are high. Regarding the importance of obtaining the current employment they emphasize to have this university degree, the professional experience, the interpersonal skills and ongoing training.
