Spray Pyrolysis of MgO Templates on 321-Austenitic Stainless Steel Substrates for YBa2Cu3O7 Deposition by PLD

Abstract: Spray pyrolysis was used to deposit MgO films on polycrystalline 321-austentic stainless steel substrates using magnesium nitrates and magnesium acetates as precursors. The MgO films deposited from the nitrate precursors were amorphous; however, MgO (200) oriented films were obtained when the acetates precursors were used. The texture of the films was improved with increasing the concentration and the deposition temperature. To evaluate the performance of the MgO buffers, PLD was used to deposit YBCO on MgO-bu… Show more

“…The main peaks of the two samples can be attributed to Na 4 Fe(CN) 6 and some impurities. The peak of the PB phase is scarcely observable [12,16,17]. The difference between figure 1a and electronic supplementary material, figure S1a in XRD patterns indicates that most of the PB phase in Sample-A and Sample-O are formed in the process of rapid precipitation.…”

“…Additionally, many reports were found in the literature on the use of green inhibitors for different metal/environment couples [24]. Suyun Caoa et al [25] investigated the effect of ionic liquid inhibitors on the corrosion inhibition of carbon steel in HCl.…”
