Squamous Papilloma of the Soft Palate: A Case Report

Abstract: Oral squamous papillomas (SPs) are benign masses commonly growing in the tongue, gingiva, uvula, lips, and palate. A case of an asymptomatic pedunculated squamous papilloma at the center of the soft palate is presented. Both surgical management and histopathologic analysis were conducted. The aim of this report is to stress the importance of early diagnosis and management of common benign oral lesions to prevent their transformation into malignancy.
