Abstract: A robust design of power system stabilizers (PSSs) using H∞ output feedback control has been introduced in this work. To facilitate the implementation of the designed PSSs, the proposed technique employs the H∞ to tune the fixed-structure conventional lead-lag PSS parameters of the multi-machine system.
