Stability analysis of supersonic entropy layers including shock effects

Abstract: The prediction of the laminar/turbulent transition location in supersonic boundary layers plays an important role to accurately compute aerodynamic forces and heating rates for the aerodynamic design and control of hypersonic vehicles.
