Abstract:The current studies elucidate the surface functionalization of boron particles to enhance dispersion stability. The boron particles were chosen because of their high gravimetric and volumetric calorific values. These particles were tailored by silane modification and dispersed into liquid hydrocarbon fuel to enhance the energy content. The experimental trials were done to demonstrate the stability of particles based on the response surface methodology (RSM) to optimize the response by varying factors such as t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
