Abstract:Based on a theoretical model proposed for interchain coupled quasi‐one‐dimensional organic ferromagnets, the stability of the high‐spin ground state of the system is studied. The non‐nearest neighbor hopping interactions as well as the electron–phonon and electron–electron interaction are taken into account. It is shown that when the second‐nearest neighbor hopping interaction increases, the energy gap decreases, which destablizes the ferromagnetic ground state while the third‐nearest neighbor hopping interact… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
