Abstract:Diagnosis of hookworm infection in dogs during pre-patentency or in pregnant bitches harbouring encysted larvae in tissues can be achieved by employing serological tests using proteins derived from somatic or excretorysecretory products of adult or larvae of Ancylostoma caninum.
