Statistical shape model‐based tibiofibular assessment of syndesmotic ankle lesions using weight‐bearing CT

Abstract: Forced external rotation is hypothesized as the key mechanism of syndesmotic ankle injuries, inducing a three‐dimensional deviation from the normal distal tibiofibular joint (DTFJ) alignment.
