Status asthmaticus in adults

Abstract: Status asthmaticus is a severe, life-threatening exacerbation of bronchial asthma that fails to improve with "conventional" treatment. "Conventional" treatment has been defined as three subcutaneous injections of epinephrine given at 15-min intervals.
