Abstract:Background: Adolescence is the most complex stage of reproductive health. The knowledge and awareness of adolescent-related reproductive issues are limited, particularly in lower-middle-income countries. Adolescent pregnancies are associated with major maternal and neonatal complications. Effective contraception use can prevent teenage pregnancy and subsequent complications.
