Status of Indian Medicinal Plants in Terms of Antioxidant Activity (In Vitro)

Abstract: In this paper, literature regarding antioxidant activity (in vitro) of Indian medicinal plants was reviewed. Paper also gives an account of family, places of collection, part used, solvent, standards and methods used to define antioxidant potential of most of the Indian medicinal plants, which have been analyzed for free radical scavenging property.
