Abstract:Background
Malaria in pregnancy (MIP) increases the risk of poor maternal and infant outcomes. To reduce these risks, WHO recommends insecticide-treated net (ITN) use, intermittent preventive treatment during pregnancy (IPTp) with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine (SP), and prompt case management.
