Abstract:Governments of many countries are setting Maximum Residue Levels (MRLs) for food and feed being imported. To safeguard the threat of MRLs to rice exported from Guyana, the GRDB embarked on several research projects with the view to reduce MRLs and manage ‘Paddy bug’ (Oebalus poecilus (Dallas)).
