Abstract:The effect in vitro of the interstitial cell stimulating hormone (ICSH or LH), of pregnant mare serum gonadotrophin (PMSG) and of lactogenic hormone (LTH), on the synthesis of progesterone in slices of ovaries taken from pseudopregnant rats was investigated.
