Abstract:This study is based on the multi-scale finite element method and establishes RVE model of 2D woven fiber yarn and woven structure. The Stiffness matrix of plain, satin and twill 2D braided composites is calculated by applying Periodic boundary conditions and tensile shear loads in six directions.
