Abstract: Efficient cutaneous wound healing requires a coordinated transition between inflammatory phases mediated by dynamic changes in leukocyte subset populations. Here, we identify STING as a key innate immune mediator governing timely resolution of inflammation by regulating macrophage dynamics during skin repair.
