Abstract:The perspectives of improved measurements with the application of machine-learning techniques for the selection of the D-meson signal and with the upgrade of the ALICE Inner Tracking System (ITS), planned for the LHC Run3 in 2020, are discussed.The results presented in this Thesis were approved by the ALICE Collaboration and presented in various conferences.
