“Strange Coupling”: Vegan Ecofeminism and Queer Ecologies in Theory and in Practice CHAPTER 1: A Brief Survey of the Field of Ecofeminism

Abstract

The present paper is the first in a series of publications that aim to share the results of an ongoing research project that explores the interconnection possibilities, both in theory and application, of the fields of ecofeminism and queer ecologies. This particular chapter offers a brief survey of the first of these fields: ecofeminism.
