Abstract:In the search for the true ground state of dense matter at sufficiently large densities and low temperatures, we model the color‐flavor locked quark phase (CFL) and elaborate on strange quark star models. We address then the feasibility conditions for the realization of the phase diagram of dense nuclear matter, as a function of the baryonic chemical potential, , and the temperature (plane ), in the compact stars (neutron star, quark star or hybrid star) regime , , where represents the mass of the nucleon. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
